  Yarian is at his best using couplets. Since each of his poem's is a picture, each couplet is a picture within a picture. A perfect image worthy of the time and effort of reflection in and of itself. The couplet structure provides that moment of rest necessary to fully comprehend the breadth of the vista laid before me.
  
  I am not one who regularly reads poetry. Yarian's profound vision reminds me that I should make more time for poetry in my life.
• I know k.m. yarian (Brother Karekin Yarian) very well, and yes they are one of my closest friends and richly blesses my life simply by being who they are.
  
  That said their poetry truly does sing out! I’ve had the privilege of seeing several of these poems in process.
  
  k.m. evocatively draws readers into each selection in this collection deeply sating a desire to know and express love. Each time I’ve read any of their poems, I’ve derived deepest satisfaction in re-reading them, both immediately and after a period of time when I would just let the poems sit inside my heart and mind as my understanding and appreciation for them calls out, loudly that when I re-read them, I am blessed with new joy and empathy for my fellow humans.
  
  Five stars is not enough reflect its merit.
• I confess to be unnerved a bit by being included in this beautiful book of poetry. Yes, I know Mama K. Yes, I love her. That said, I never expected such a kind gift as a poem. Nor did I expect it to be included in a volume of her poetry. This is the feeling I hope all readers get as they slowly read over her verse. Read slowly. Be deliberate. Be ready to laugh. There are so many ways she plays on words and stretches one's sensibilities. And for you Christian readers, take note. This is fine, fine theology.
