All Mason Payne wants to do is keep his head down and quietly age out of the system, but when he has to step in to defend his foster sisters against a terrifying foster father, his life takes a turn he never imagined.

He's placed with loving foster parents. People who should make him forget about everything. Instead, they make him run right into his past. And his past isn't at all what he imagined.

His past is exemplified by Jules Dubois, practically Mason's reflection. And while Mason is aware he should hate him, Jules is hard to hate. He's nice. Very nice. And untouchable. No matter how much Mason craves him. No matter how much he wants to touch him.... Right?

Hard Glass Audible Audio Edition Lina Langley Adam Weaver Books Reviews

  • The book contained a 145 pages. The book was about twins, named Mason and Jules. Mason was a gay abused boy, who grew up in foster care. Jules was a gay man, who led a very good life. Mason, went in search of his brother. The book contained a bit of kissing, angst and a couple of oral sex scenes. I liked the boys. Mason was strong, caring, very protective and conflicted. Jules was nice, caring and easy to love. My issues with this book, Jules had no clue, Mason was his brother, even through they were identical twins. I have to say, I love a taboo book, but not this one, it was rushed, then cliffhanger. There is another book, I believe coming out in March of this year, Naked glass. I will not be buying it.
  • I'll read anything taboo. With that said you have to suspend your believe a lot in this book but I still enjoyed it. After all it is fiction. Two boys, twins, separated at birth, one getting all the benefits the other not. They meet, fall in love and book ends on a HFN, with a to be continued. I will read part two.
  • Twins separated as infants when the mother left one at a fire station. For some strange reason blonde green eyed Mason didn't get adopted as an infant and endured a hellish existence in the foster system. Jules, whom the mother kept is raised in the lap of luxury. Mason feels that Jules stole his life and wants to make him pay. The MCs are well written and Branden and Hashim are good secondary characters. Am looking forward to the rest of the story.
  • This is my first book by this author and I was pleasantly surprised. A fairly quick read, the story and characters develop well and it doesn't feel like a cliff hanger at the end--though I do want to know what happens next. Of course I always want to know what happens next. I appreciated the inner struggle of both boys and how their relationship evolved. I wouldn't typically read books about boys in high school, but since they are the same age (clearly) and it's mostly about how their relationship develops within the context of redefining family, it isn't uncomfortable. I'm looking forward to the next book.
  • I love her ability to transform bad boys into little angels. This book is the reason I have always wished for a twin brother. Can hardly wait to pick up the next volume and continue with these lovable boys.
  • As a first time reader of this genre, I must state that I found it exceptionally well written, both in content and the rules of writing. I cannot remember finding any grammatical errors, which is a huge distraction for me.

The plot was solid and had many twists to keep this reader guessing what was to happen next.

I will be certain to read more of Lina Langley's' books in the future.
  • Sweet story devoured in one sitting.
Raised in two different worlds, but once they come together all you want for them is a hea.
    Need next installment asap!
